You may want to switch off, relax and enjoy your beautiful surroundings. Or you may want to sample some of the delights of the local area, if so here are a few ideas for you of things to do during your stay-

Dowdeswell reservoir and woods

The beautiful reservoir and woods are within walking distance of the farm, this is a beautiful spot to enjoy and explore. There are many footpaths leading through the nature reserve, woods and along the Water. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife both in and out the water!

The woods are 200 acres made up of conifers and broad-leaf. There are lots of walking trails to explore and the Cotswold Way National Trail runs alongside the western edge of the reservoir and woods.

Lineover woods

Right on our doorstep and adjacent to our farm is the beautiful Lineover woods. 123 acres of Ancient woodland to explore, a biological Site of Special Scientific and in the Cotswold Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).

It is an ancient semi natural coppice woodland. Species include ash, oak, white beam, small-leaved lime and large-leaved lime.

Walks & The Cotswold Way

We have some wonderful walks available directly from the farm and nearby around the Cotswolds. Bring your boots and explore the local countryside.

The Cotswold Way is directly accessible from the top of the farm and is a 102-mile long-distance footpath, running along the Cotswold escarpment. It starts in the south at the World Heritage City of Bath with views of the Severn Estuary and Severn bridges, meanders the River Severn and borders Wales. It runs through charming Cotswold villages to the market town of Chipping Campden in the north.

The highest point is Cleeve Hill at 1,083ft (330m). The walk takes in stately homes, gardens and castles along the way.
