A bit

about our

Coxhorne Farm is an 80-acre family farm situated on the beautiful Cotswold escarpment on the outskirts of Cheltenham, run by the Close family who have owned and operated the farm for over 50 years. The farm is currently a working beef and livestock farm.

The farm rises up to the Cotswold escarpment; from the top, you will find beautiful views over Cheltenham and as far as the Malvern Hills and Black mountains on a clear day. The perfect spot for a picnic, a bottle of fizz, and watch the sunset.

Coxhorne Glamping is run by Rebecca and Alison (aka Bex and Al!), we have grown up on Coxhorne Farm and we can’t wait to wait to share it with you as we hope you will love it as much as we do.

We will provide you with a unique glamping experience in our luxurious Lotus Belle tent. It is nestled into a beautiful spot, in a secluded corner of a 10-acre field on the farm. You will be sharing your surroundings with an abundance of wildlife on the farm including rabbits, deer, pheasants, foxes and owls and you may even be joined by some friendly cows or sheep. The Belle tent has a king size bed with a thick cosy duvet to snuggle into and relax. There are also blankets and hot water bottles just in case! The tent is on a raised deck area, complete with table and chairs, this is the perfect spot to chill out, watch nature and even star gaze at night. A welcome pack will be waiting for you with a few local delights.

Feasting Deck

Our deck is a rustic cabin with a beautiful, ever changing Cotswold view. it is made from reclaimed telegraph poles and wrinkly tin, situated on a former 1930’s Railway line. The ideal space to cook, dine and relax. The Deck is complete with a Belfast sink with running water and equipped with cutlery, crockery, pots and pans. Everything you should need. A large dining table, chairs and cosy blankets to keep you warm. It is equipped with a 2 burner hob, pizza oven and fire pit, plenty of options for cooking, keeping warm and even toasting marshmallows. We will supply you with plenty of wood to get started and should you need more, a bundle of logs will be available to buy. We have festoon lights overhead which are run via a solar panel. USB charger and sound system.

Rural En-Suite

Situated next to the deck is the quirky horsebox which has been converted into our bathroom, it has a flushing toilet and sink with running water. Attached to the side is an outdoor heated shower, sheltered by the beautiful tree canopy. Invigorating whatever the weather.
